구내염은 입안의 점막에 염증이 생기는 질환으로, 입술 안쪽, 볼 안쪽, 혀, 잇몸, 입천장 등 다양한 부위에 발생할 수 있습니다. 작은 궤양으로 시작해 통증, 불편감, 음식 섭취 곤란 등을 유발하며, 반복적으로 발생하는 만성 구내염은 삶의 질에도 영향을 줄 수 있습니다.

재발성 아프타성 구내염
가장 흔한 형태로, 면역 반응의 이상으로 발생 합니다. 주로 작고 둥근 궤양이 반복적으로 생기며 스트레스, 피로, 호르몬 변화, 영양 결핍(B12, 철분 등)과 관련됩니다.

곰팡이성 구내염 (칸디다증)
백태처럼 보이는 하얀 점막 병변으로 항생제 장기 복용, 구강건조증, 면역 저하 상태에서 자주 발생합니다.

편평태선
편평태선은 피부나 입 안에 생기는 면역성 염증 질환으로, 가려움이나 통증을 유발할 수 있으며, 치료와 꾸준한 관리가 중요합니다.

바이러스성 구내염
헤르페스 바이러스 등 감염에 의한 염증으로 발생합니다. 전신증상(발열, 림프절염) 동반 가능합니다.
구내염은 정확한 원인 감별이 선행되어야 하며, 구강내과에서는 병력 청취 + 임상 소견 + 필요 시
혈액검사나 생검을 통해 원인을 확인하고 그에 맞는 치료를 시행합니다.
별다른 육안상 병변 없이 입안이 타는 듯 화끈거리고 아픈 증상이 지속되는 만성 구강통증 질환입니다.
원인도 명확하지 않은 경우가 많아서 진단과 치료가 어려운 질환 중 하나입니다.
